Sunday Dec 18, 2016. My first act of self-care is to meditate for 30 minutes to set my intention to take care of myself.

It seemed like a good way to start…To be honest, this meditation was really hard. I usually do 15-20 min guided meditations. 30 min on my own felt like a century…But I did it and I guess that’s the most important thing. Self-care, here I come!

When I started the Self-Care Journey, I didn’t know I was embarking for 365 days. I had a very vague idea of what my concept or my objectives -appart from taking care of myself- were.

I’m keeping the posts the way they were initially published so that you can witness the evolution of my journey and live the experience the way I did.

WHY IS IT SELF-CARE? Setting your intention before initiating an action is a way to fully immerse in the moment. To be mindful, to wish yourself good luck and give your act, whatever it is, the importance it deserves.
